TIROL-TV

Januar 2023

in nachhaltiger Produktion

Hi.

Sonja Zipperer, Selbstportrait auf der Alm mit Produkten

About me and my philosophy

It is a very special privilege to have your own design and craft creations

to make it accessible to a wide audience.

I can only say thank you again and again for all the positive reactions.

Already in my 4-year craft training

to theLadies Dressmaker / Garment TechnicianAt the technical school for fashion and clothing technology in Innsbruck (end of the 1980s), I was keenly interested in combining designs and textile materials in new, exciting ways... and much morem to bring a breath of fresh air, from the design process to the craftsmanship.

Um  Hand-Werk richtig  zu  verstehen  muss  man_cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ es  DO...

Every craftswoman knows how much work it takes to create your own...

Many hours of work and work steps are necessary, which you cannot see on the finished product as a layman.

In order to be able to offer customers and interested visitors an insight into my daily work, I like to work at public events such as markets and exhibitions directly at my stand.

What drives me:

We all love the feeling of being well-dressed among people.

Pampering my customers   is my ultimate goal...

with a stylish handbag that perfectly matches the outfit

and the matching textile accessories from my workshop

for a coherent visual impression.

Since the opening of my studio on January 2nd, 2013

I strive to constantly expand my knowledge of the learned, traditional tailoring trade and to optimize my own developed manufacturing techniques in order to refine my products and always make them a little more beautiful and noble._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_

Right from the start, a well-founded technical knowledge of old, traditional handicraft techniques is particularly important to me. That's why I graduated

2013 a course for gold, silver and pearl embroidery in Bavaria and

2015 a quill embroidery course,

to be able to incorporate elements from these old trades into my work.

The urgently needed conversion and expansion of my small workshop into a 40 sqm studio in January 2018 has increased the possibilities and efficiency of my work since then.

This daily manual work in my studio is characterized by
